Blast Extreme port sharing over TCP

Hi all,

In this blog it states that:

Port sharing over TCP: Requires opening only one port on the front-end firewall when TCP port sharing is used with Access Point

When using blast extreme protocol, it is possible to use only port 443 in combination with access point 2.5. It is supported/possible as well with newer versions of Access Point ?

In that case why is needed port TCP/UDP 8443, it is showed on that blog.
