In previous versions of VMware Horizon View I have been able to utilize the thinprint feature to print documents inside my VM through a printer configured with the Surface RT. (Using RDP)

In the latest version of VMware Horizon View 2.3 which utilizes PCOIP thinprint is no longer pushing printers from my Surface RT into my VM.

When I manually stop and start the thinprint service while connected to my VM with my Surface RT using the following commands:

"C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools\tpautoconnect.exe" -d (to stop)

"C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Tools\tpautoconnect.exe" -v  (to start)

I receive the following error:

ThinPrint AutoConnect component, Copyright (c) 1999-2012 Cortado AG, 8.8.745.1

Can't connect to virtual channel (1).
Try .print Client on mydnsname:4000.
Try .print Client on 10.10.10.10:4000.
No suitable client protocol found.

I changed the ip and dns name above.

I am able to utilize thinprint over PCOIP from a Windows desktop computer running windows 7 x32.
