There was an open discussion on this issue from 2012 but nobody else seems to have encountered it, except for me now, lucky me!
Currently I have 2 VMs that are exhibiting the following behaviour: After login and on the user desktop, if you go to the top menu and select "Disconnect and Logout" you get :"Cannot log out because the desktop is locked." Click on Send Ctrl+Alt+Del and unlock the desktop before logging out."
Curious if anyone else has experienced this and what was done to resolve the issue. We've tried restarting the VM and updating VMware Tools on the VM.
