View Planner (or other tool) as a Burn-In Test?

Hi,

We have about a 5K seat View 7 deployment.  In the past year we have been bit by a number of different bugs related to patches, BIOS,new hardware etc after doing updates or replacing servers.

What we would really like is some way to simulate a VDI workload for an extended period of time, like a whole week.  Then anytime a we roll out a patch, firmware etc we would run it in a Test cluster before being placed back into production.

All new hardware is run through an extended CPU/RAM burn-in but defective hardware has never been our issue.

I've read through the View Planner tool but I don't see it has any ability to loop.  We really want the VM's to go through the power off, boot up, run a series of applications and power down....rinse wash and repeat.

I read through some LoginVSI docs and do not see any looping feature for it either.  You can crank up the number of iterations, but that won't make the VM's continually go through a provisioning, boot-up, workload, boot down cycle.

Anybody know of a clever way to do something like this?
