I've been tasked with evaluating Horizon View 7 and I've been trying to find answers to two very specific questions. I've been able to check off all the information I've needed to gather except these:
- Is it possible to have a remote user with a laptop have an assigned desktop that's accessible with no internet connection? In a way they can log into the laptop like a normal windows user and when they are able to connect to an internet source the machine can then properly sync data, applications and the like? We have remote users that do work on their laptops and internet connections aren't always available at the site's they are at, but want to leverage a VD environment to keep their machines updated with proper software and access.
- What kind of shadowing abilities does Horizon View offer for both published apps and assigned/floating desktops?
