Greetings. I'm not sure this is the proper way to submit a topic asking for assistance, so if it's misplaced please let me know how it should be done or if it can be done.
In any event, I'm attempting to open a client session to my company's vmware server. We use an RSA SecurId for authentication, the prompt for which never reaches my workstation. The connection is made initially, the Windows auth dialogue displays and seems to work correctly, but when the session icon is clicked to proceed to the actual VM, the monitor goes dark, a small menu list appears in the middle top of the screen for a few minutes and then it closes.
I'm attempting this from a Fedora 23 installation.
Is there any documentation of what needs to be done on the workstation side to enable the securid, or is this problem due to other factors?
Any help or guidance would be appreciated. (company support is not forthcoming - Windows-centric)
Regards, --Joe
ps: OK, OK, I know I'm asking linux questions in a windows group, but there doesn't seem to be a group for view client for linux. And the site won't let me post a question unless I'm "folllowing" some community. So if I've ruffled feathers, just say so and I'll bugger off.
