I have some Wyse thin clients with WES7, and we are having an issue using Horizon View Client PCoIP.
The issue is this: We have an icon with URI information in it to point to our VDI server. We have a GPO to automatically configure the proxy server. If we login and immediately try to launch the view client, it will fail saying: Error: An SSL error occurred. If we wait 5 minutes and try again, the same error will occur. No matter how long you wait, it will continue to occur.
However, the moment you open Internet Explorer or navigate through Internet Options to the Proxy Server settings, and immediately close out without configuring anything, it will work. And it works every single time after that until the user logs out and back in.
What could cause this to happen? It's like it's waiting for IE or someone to go to the proxy config page to initialize the proxy, and then allows it for the view client. I am unsure as to why, though.
