I have a 6.1.1 view environment that currently has no access issues to the connection or security servers. I have a new requirement to allow our parent company access to view desktops. The security team doesn't want to allow users to go out over the internet to hit our security servers and prefers that we have them connect to our connection servers directly over the WAN. The 443 communication is fine and user logs in and can see their pool. The problem we have found is the black screen of death for PCOIP. Wireshark showed us the client is trying to communicate back to the connection server with the PCOIP Secure Gateway IP which is handed to the client on connection. Since our network is not native to our parent company we have a NAT in place between us and the IP I am handing back to them is not route-able on their network.
I see the only solutions are setting up another connection server with the PCOIP Secure Gateway Configuration set to the NAT address and this connection server will only be used for parent company clients or connecting over the internet to the security server as its PCOIP Secure Gateway IP is public. I show in the Horizon View documentation that using DNS names in that configuration box is only supported on IPv6 but that is not an option for us.
Does anyone else have any supported solutions to this problem?
