Best practice to use Windows in VDI enviroment

Hi All, i'm new in this community, so i hope to write my question on the right place.

In my company we have an VDI Enviroment, our support say us to disconnect windows without restart it, but i see that after some days windows become more slowly, so when in restart it, it works more fine.

I looking for some documents about this question or a best practice, but i didn0t find any answer...
