Hey,
I am in a school district that has 95% vmware. We are having an issue where teachers that switch class rooms will get local printers installed, and the printers are staying with the session. After awhile, they login with 5-10 offline printers, they are unable to delete. I have sectioned off a test user, for teacher on maternity leave and stripped all of the group policies, and they get access is denied when trying to remove them even with no group policies. I can use mmc tool to delete as my username as domain admin, but they cannot. At first I thought it was maybe printers that had jobs, so they were staying, but most don't. I can't seem to find a group policy that will enable users rights to delete local printers. Weird thing is, they can delete network printers, that are mapped via a script.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
